I AM A SENTIMENTAL PERSON BY NATURE
I save love letters, boarding passes, ticket stubs and anything else that helps me remember the good times. Photography allows me to capture the moment and keep it forever and there is magic in that for me.
Wedding days are beautiful whirlwinds of emotion and that is what draws me in. There are so many special intimate moments sprinkled throughout the day and my eye is trained to see them and capture them in meaningful ways. I have always been a story teller, a big feeler and a hopeless romantic, so photographing weddings is quite literally living my dream.
I was raised by a single mom. She supported us by playing her harp for weddings so the industry has been a part of my life as far back as I can remember. I loved brides coming over to our house and the excitement they had when they picked the song they would walk down the aisle to. Those moments sparked my interest in weddings and my appreciation for all the thought and planning that is put into this one special day.
THE GIFT OF MEMORIES
Photos give us the little pieces of our lives that we never want to forget and I am honored to be able to share that with others. My love for photography started in my high school darkroom, I got my first job just so I could afford film and paper. That passion only grew, leading me to study media and communication at the University of Washington where I focused heavily on visual arts and storytelling. Deep down, I have always known that I belong behind a camera because it is truly where I’m happiest. I have photographed well over 150 weddings and have the same passion for them as when I first started.
One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is that the journey doesn’t end after the big day. I’m also a portrait photographer, which means I get to continue capturing life as it unfolds. Watching my couples start families of their own and photographing their next chapter is something I truly cherish. I’d love to be part of your story and help you hold onto the moments that matter most!

You can find me tending to my countless house plants, listening to music, hiking gorgeous trails and spending quality time with my husband and my two amazing kiddos. I am constantly searching ticket master for concerts and comedy shows. I have a running bucket list organized by state and country because travel is a priority for me. I am all about making core memories. I love coffee and a good laugh, but most of all…
